Shabnam Eyyubova is a Lead Specialist in Social and Environmental Sustainability at the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA). In her current role, she leads the development and implementation of sustainability strategies within the national football industry, ensuring the integration of social and environmental standards into the organization’s operations.
Shabnam also serves as the Child Safeguarding Focal Point at AFFA, where she focuses on establishing safety protocols and protecting the welfare of young participants in the sport.
Her work is supported by a strong analytical background in journalism, with a prior focus on foreign policy, regional political dynamics, and energy processes. Shabnam holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Edinburgh and completed a professional internship at the Scottish Parliament.
