Deputy General Secretary, Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan Elchin Mammadov is one of the leading figures in the strategic development of football governance in Azerbaijan. With nearly two decades of experience in football management, Mr. Mammadov has been deeply involved in the implementation of UEFA standards in club licensing, governance, and financial sustainability.
Prior to his current role, he successfully led the AFFA Club Licensing Department, where he contributed significantly to aligning Azerbaijani clubs with European professional standards. A graduate of the prestigious UEFA Diploma in Football Leadership and Management, he is widely recognized for his expertise in football governance, institutional development, and strategic planning within modern football structures. Throughout his career, Mr. Mammadov has represented Azerbaijan in numerous UEFA working groups, international football forums, and development programs, contributing to the advancement of football administration and best practices across the region.
